چکیده

A survey for molecular outflows was carried out by mapping the CO line toward a sample of 69 J p 2–1 luminous IRAS point sources. Sixty objects have IRAS luminosities from 10 to 10 L, and are associated with dense gas traced by NH3, identifying them as high-mass star-forming regions. Among 69 sources, 65 sources have data that are suitable for outflow identification. Thirty-nine regions show spatially confined high-velocity wing emission in CO, indicative of molecular outflows. Most objects without identifiable outflows lie within 0 ! l ! where outflow signatures are confused by multiple cloud components along the line of sight. Excluding 26 50 sources with , we found 35 outflows out of 39 sources, which yields an outflow detection rate of 90%. 0 ! l ! 50 Many of the outflows contain masses of more than 10 M and have momenta of a few hundred M km s , at 1

Who Is Eating the Outflow ? : High - Angular Resolution Study of an Intermediate - Mass Protostar in L 1206

Context. Up to now only a few intermediate-mass molecular outflows have been studied with enough high-angular resolution. Aims. The aim of this work is to study in detail the intermediate-mass YSO IRAS 22272+6358A, which is embedded in L1206, and its molecular outflow, in order to investigate the interaction of the outflow with the dense protostellar material, and to compare their properties wi...

Millimetre study of star formation in southern globules

The paper presents the results of a dedicated millimetre continuum and molecular line (CO and CS) search for cold and dense (protostellar) cores and molecular outflows in 35 southern Bok globules (Dec. ≤ −30◦). Only globules which are associated with cold IRAS point sources (FIR colour temperatures below 35 K) were selected for this study. We could demonstrate that globules are often loosely as...

The Evolution of Far-infrared Co Emission from Protostars

We investigate the evolution of far-IR CO emission from protostars observed with Herschel/PACS for 50 sources from the combined sample of HOPS and DIGIT Herschel key programs. From the uniformly sampled spectral energy distributions, whose peaks are well sampled, we computed the Lbol, Tbol,and L L bol smm for these sources to search for correlations between far-IR CO emission and protostellar ...

The Evolution of Outflow-Envelope Interactions in Low-Mass Protostars

We present multi-line and continuum observations of the circumstellar environment within 10 AU of a sample of protostars to investigate how the effects of outflows on their immediate environment changes over time. CO(1-0) emission probes the high-velocity molecular outflows near the protostars and demonstrate that the outflow opening angle widens as the nascent star evolves. Maps of the CO(1-0)...

Carma Observations of Protostellar Outflows in Ngc 1333

We present observations of outflows in the star-forming region NGC 1333 using the Combined Array for Research in Millimeter-Wave Astronomy (CARMA). We combined the CO and CO (10) CARMA mosaics with data from the 14-m Five College Radio Astronomy Observatory (FCRAO) to probe the central, most dense and active region of this protostellar cluster at scales from 5′′ to 7′ (or 1000 AU to 0.5 pc at a...
